Builder guide

How Builder Rank works.

Make your work useful to the people who build, test, and explain products. Rank is the byproduct, not the trick.

Start with the truth

It is not a follower leaderboard.

Builder Rank reflects an interaction and influence graph around people who build, test, and explain products in public. Credible context, useful responses, and active participation matter more than a loud post with no relevant connection.

The public Builder Rankings are a directional view, not a promise of entry into every Test Drive. Each campaign checks its own eligible-audience snapshot and can apply its own product-fit or integrity rules.

Access today

A campaign needs to recognise your account.

To take a counted Test Drive, use the X account recognised by that campaign's ranked audience or by the Founding Beta, the small manually approved early cohort.

If you are in neither route yet, you can browse the product and read live campaigns, but the system cannot count a result from your account. That keeps a product test, its post, and its outcome tied to a real participant.

What actually helps

Make a contribution worth responding to.

Practice 1

Show work that is yours

Share a build, a product test, a failed experiment, or a shipping note with enough detail that another builder can respond to the real work.

Practice 2

Be specifically useful

Reply where you understand the problem. A concrete observation, result, or useful disagreement beats a stream of generic praise.

Practice 3

Turn replies into conversation

When someone responds, keep the conversation moving with substance. The goal is a relationship around useful work, not a manufactured graph edge.

Practice 4

Stay recognisable

Use one real account and let your timeline tell a coherent story about what you build, use, test, or explain.

What does not help

Do not turn people into a growth tactic.

A thoughtful interaction with a ranked builder can be valuable. Asking for a follow-back, a repost, or a reciprocal reply is not the same thing.

  • Buying followers, views, or replies
  • Engagement pods and reciprocal-comment rings
  • Copy-paste replies under ranked accounts
  • Mass tagging people to ask for a repost
  • Praise for products you did not use

Next step

Build the habit, then check your handle.

Share something real this week. Add one useful observation to a builder conversation. Then search the rankings as the source updates.
