The best part of @thegodmodepod EP36 if you post on X or TikTok Gannon Breslin's Snapchat Specs video did around 150K views and got him almost no followers One of his 10K view breakdowns of another account got him 400 Same creator, same feed. The viral one reached the wrong people Watch the saves and shares part around the 14 min mark. One host had a video take off on 14,000 saves while his skip rates can sit near 50% https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk

2.6 million views sounds like a dream, right? But what if those views bring you zero customers? One moment from @thegodmodepod EP36 really stuck with me. Gannon shared how a TikTok with around 10K views brought him 400 followers, while a much bigger viral video barely attracted the audience he wanted. As someone building The Arena, that's a reminder I needed. Stop chasing views just because the numbers look impressive. Focus on reaching people who actually care about what you're building. If you're a founder trying to grow through content, this conversation is worth watching. 🎥 https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk

What stood out to me in God Mode Pod EP36: followers don't guarantee views At 03:29,Gannon shares an interesting point about TikTok's algorithm & video reach. It made me realise that creating content & getting views are two different things @thegodmodepod https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk

if you’re building on X, TikTok, or Instagram, this episode is worth your time. one moment that stood out to me was Gannon Breslin explaining why 2.6 million views don’t automatically mean you’ve reached the right audience. saves and shares can matter more than chasing views alone. that’s a good reminder for anyone creating content: going viral is nice, but reaching people who actually care about what you’re building is more valuable. they also test Claude for video with Snowball on their own TikTok, so you get to see AI tools put into practice. watch EP36 here 👇 https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk @thegodmodepod

Most people blame the algorithm when their content flops but EP36 @thegodmodepod gets into what actually matters Saves, shares and why going viral isn’t the end goal The live Claude video experiment at 1:08:27 was quite interesting and i hope you watch it https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk

Millions of views do not mean you reached the right audience. In EP36 of @thegodmodepod Gannon Breslin breaks down content distribution and building a startup on a Navy ship with shared Starlink from midnight to 3 AM. Real building is messy execution under terrible conditions. Watch EP36: https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk

Still thinking about that reality check from Ganon in God Mode Pod EP 36 about why chasing millions of views can actually ruin your funnel. If you missed my last post, you seriously need to check out Chapters 5 and 6 where he breaks down how a viral meme video brought him 2.6M views of completely the wrong crowd. It’s such a masterclass in why saves and shares beat vanity metrics every single time. His advice to reverse-engineer your content by asking "Why would someone DM or save this?" completely changes how you build. watch the full breakdown here: https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk @thegodmodepod

One thing that caught my attention in God Mode Pod EP36 is the point about Instagram saves and shares beating skip rate. Gannon Breslin talks about getting 14,000 saves on one reel, which is a good reminder that views aren't the whole story. As someone who creates content, I think it's worth understanding what makes people save or share a post, not just scroll past it. Rik and Ben also test Claude for video on their own TikTok with Snowball. That's another reason to watch. Watch here: https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk @thegodmodepod

Just watched God Mode EP36 Navy ship story hit hard, 7 days notice after publicly launching the startup, then working midnight to 3am on limited Starlink while 100 people were in the same hallway. Not the usual hustle flex. What I liked: he actually calls out the algorithm creators who just make shit up. Saves + shares matter way more than skip rate now, and reverse-engineering why someone would share or save something before you even make it feels practical. Solid episode if you create content. Less fluff than most of these algorithm talks. https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk @thegodmodepod

If you’re trying to grow on social media, EP36 of @thegodmodepod is worth watching. One point that stuck with me: Gannon explains how TikTok can show a post to only a small slice of your followers, meaning most of your audience may never even see it. That made me rethink what “low views” actually means. The episode also gets into why saves and shares can matter more than simply chasing a big view count. Worth the watch: https://youtu.be/HawQxKYw9zk
